Above the Storm
Subject: Double-Crested Cormorants
Eagle Creek Park, Indiana
Flying south above the low-hanging front of a spring thunderstorm, these cormorants may be wise to depart the open water of Eagle Creek and seek shelter among the trees, or perhaps evade the storm altogether. Able to fly long distances at speeds over 30mph, it just might be possible for the flock to stay ahead of the storm.
